Organic Coffee and Beans

One of my favorite organic coffees comes from Organic Coffee Company, Their Stellar Brew lives up to its name. If you are a fan of dark roasts, this is it. It has a earthy, smoky taste. A very full bodied brew. If you are a lover of dark roasts like I am, you will be impressed. You can just see the full body. Pour it into a glass mug, add just a touch of cream and watch the swirls. My favorite way to drink this fine, organic coffee is black so I can taste its thick, full bodied richness. The woody aroma as you lift your cup to your lips will take your head to the stars. This organic coffee can be purchased on the Organic Coffee Company's website, www.organiccoffeecompany.com, for $8.49/lb. The great thing about the Organic Coffee Company is their commitment to fair trade and the environment. Check out their website for other organic coffee blends.

For all you "greens" out there, another source for organic coffee comes from Coffee Wholesalers. On their website, you can find a wide variety of organic green coffee beans that you can roast at home. If you have never roasted your own green coffee beans, try it. The excitement, the aromas, the anticipation of your first cup is well worth it. It is a favorite pleasure of my wife, Bessie and I to get our green beans and roast them ourselves. The smell and the first "pop" of the bean will heighten your anticipation of your first taste. One of our favorite organic green beans is Guatemala Huixoc. This is a naturally dark bean, darker than most from Central America. Because of the inherent darkness of the bean, we usually roast the Huixoc a little lighter, a city roast, than we usually do. This organic favorite, while roasting, will impart the aromas of nuts or even chocolate into the air. 1 pound of Guatemala Huixoc will cost you $3.99 from coffee wholesalers. Their website is www.coffeeismydrugofchoice.com.

Enjoy!

My husband likes coffee. I'll have to mention this to him. Thanks.
