Wild Organics! Located in Silverdale, this organic delivery business offers two options: home delivery or a group drop off. I have mine home delivered, since it is in the vicinity they operate in. Some of my friends use the drop off points and it works just as well for them. The bins of produce are delivered on the same day each week, between the hours of 10a to 6pm.
They offer one size box, since they are a new company. In fact, it is a family-owned business who lives in the area. That is what I like about it. The reason they got started in the business was because of their own health concerns regarding the food they were purchasing in the supermarket. They saw a need, and they fulfilled it. Wild Organics! Is convenient, that is for sure. Their produce is received from a warehouse, who receives it from the farm.
The veggies and fruit are always fresh and tasty. Two substitutions are allowed per week, within 48 hour time frame of delivery. Http://www.greenpeople.org
Tiny's Organics offers organic food delivery, but only to local drop off points. Still, I prefer this place since the produce is grown at their local farm. It is directly from their farm to the customer, and they grow over 100 varieties of produce! Tiny's operates as part of a CSA program (Community Supported Agriculture), which supports our local farms. They have been in business for 30 years - another benefit. In addition to having drop off points, Tiny's can be found at local farmer's markets - which I love. Their CSA program is seasonal. Http://www.ilovetiny.com
