If you like to eat organic foods but do not like to take the time to make your own meals you can get organic food delivered. There are several places in the Los Angeles area that offer organic food delivery to your office or home. You can get everything from organic vegetable boxes to organic produce delivery. Two of my favorite organic delivery places in Los Angles are Bloom Café and Organic To Go.

Bloom Café specializes in whole, unprocessed organic meals and serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. The average price for a meal at Bloom Café is $10, with the highest priced menu item being the fish of the day at $16. Bloom Café serves up organic egg dishes for breakfast. Lunch is made up of organic soups, salads and sandwiches. And dinner offers the fish of the day, soup and sandwiches, and organic pizzas. You can also order juices and smoothies all day long. Bloom Café is located at 5544 Pico Boulevard (between Fairfax and LaBrea) in Los Angeles, California. There is a $20 minimum for delivery. You can order online. Delivery hours are Monday to Friday: 11-3, 5-9 and Saturday and Sunday: 5-9. You get a 10% discount if your order is in by 11am!

Organic To Go has several locations in the Los Angeles area. Organic To Go was first fast casual retailer in the US to be certified organic by the USDA. They specialize in all organic and natural foods and their restaurants have sustainable bamboo tables and chairs. You can order an organic lunch bag for only $12.95 from Organic To Go. The lunch bags have a sandwich, chips, a big cookie, apple slices and Athena water. Organic To Go also serves an assortment of items for breakfast and lunch. You can get anything from fresh fruit, to burritos to stir fry. The average price is between $10 and $15. Order by 9:30am to get your order by 1pm. You can order online or by fax to your preferred location. Most Los Angeles locations of Organic To Go close by 5pm.

In LA we use eat24hours.com all the time. Really great service!

Thanks for the great tip. I'm not in LA, but in San Francisco. I found a local site that delivers farm-fresh organic fruit and organic vegetables to Bay Area homes. The address is http://www.alberteve.com and they do a free home delivery. I started getting my organic produce delivered every week with them and love it. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh, all organic and the prices are much cheaper than at local supermarkets like Safeway, Trader Joes, and Wholefoods. Using a CSA delilvery service is definately the way to go organic! ohh and i got my first box free using coupon code: intro0309 ;)

    check them out - www.alberteve.com
