My mom is a big fan of garlic for its health benefits well as its tastes. As a child I often had garlic in the majority of our meals. This continued through my teenage years and when I moved out on my own I have to admit that I wasn't getting garlic anymore. This went on for some time but then I began to miss it and now I love it too. I find myself getting it and I like to use it in my pasta sauce. For a very long time I was getting Organic Garlic from Sun Union Inc. By chance I noticed a bag of Earthbound Farm Organic Garlic and decided to give that one a try as well. Here is what I thought about it.

I wondered what all of the benefits of garlic were and that led me to write an article on Garlic Health Facts . Since writing that I myself have been consuming more and more garlic as I really do enjoy the benefits. I assumed that all garlics are going to taste the same and offer the same benefits but I still thought it was nice to change the brand from time to time. The Earthbound Farm Organic Garlic comes in a three ounce purple mesh bag and contains four individual organic garlic whole heads. One thing that I was very curious about was whether or not I could go online and look up the nutrition facts of garlic, as Earthbound Farm's website lists the nutrition facts of their products.

Sure enough once I found the section on the Earthbound Farm's website that talked about their organic garlic I found the nutrition facts of the organic garlic. The nutrition facts were pretty bare but they did say that in one clove of the Earthbound Farm Organic Garlic there is five calories, one gram of carbohydrates and the minerals and vitamins section listed two percent for vitamin C. Everything else just had zero by it. I never new that there was any vitamin C in garlic before. In addition to finding the nutrition facts I also found the recommendations for storing the organic garlic on the website.

I never really had any troubles with the storing the Earthbound Farm Organic Garlic or any other organic garlic for that matter but I was interested in seeing what the website said. It is suggested that you keep the whole heads of organic garlic in a cool, dark, well-ventilated place that stays between forty five and fifty degree Fahrenheit. I had yet to refrigerate my garlic but I was glad to learn that refrigerating it is not recommended, that is of course unless you have peeled it. One thing that I really like about getting foods from the Earthbound Farm company is their helpful website. This was not the first time I had tried a food of theirs.

I have also tried Earthbound Farm Organic Lettuce and Carrots. I was pretty happy with both of those items and I was pretty happy with the Earthbound Farm Organic Garlic too, it tasted good and stayed fresh for a long time. I will definitely be getting it again if I can find it on sale, I don't see it very often as I've only seen at one of the grocery stores that I go to and it is more expensive than other organic garlic. It is about two and a half dollars for the three ounces. I would recommend for anyone to give it a try. I am very happy to have tried it and I am glad that I decided to try this organic garlic out.
