Organic Ice Cream Cones from Let's Do Organic Review
These Ice Cream Cones Tasted Wonderful and I Was So Glad that I Found Them
As I mentioned above putting ice cream in to a cone, instead of a bowl, can really help you limit the amount of ice cream that you eat in one sitting. Unlike when you eat ice cream directly out of the container, something that I think we are all guilty of doing at least one or two times, you can only hold so much in an ice cream cone. Although the Organic Ice Cream Cones from Let's Do Organic were small they were not so small that I thought that I needed to have two of them to get my need of ice cream. I liked that they were not large for the fact that my son would not be eating too much ice cream when having one of them also. We don't normally have ice cream on hand, unless it is someone's birthday or something, but in the summertime we tend to get it a lot more often than the other seasons. This of course is due to the fact that on a hot Summer day you crave ice cream. Similar to how often we find ourselves getting and eating ice cream we generally only get ice cream cones for special occasions and very hot days in the summertime. Honestly though I think that I would still have gotten the Organic Ice Cream Cones from Let's Do Organic if I saw them in the Fall, Spring or Winter on sale.
I was very happy that I found the Organic Ice Cream Cones from Let's Do Organic on sale because it made me feel better about getting a box. The box that I got contained twelve cones and it only cost me two dollars and fifty cents. This made each cone about twenty cents or so, which made me want to carefully use them and to enjoy them when I did use them. I've tried out several ice creams and non-dairy frozen dessert made from rice milk and from soy, which include Breyer's Natural Vanilla and Strawberry Ice Cream, Private Selection Butter Pecan Premium Ice Cream, Blue Bunny Premium Pistachio Almond Ice Cream, Rice Dream Supreme Sweet Peach Pie and Supreme Vanilla Gingersnap Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert, Rice Divine Organic Coconut Mango and Organic Carrot Cake Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert and So Delicious Organic Creamy Vanilla Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert. It was actually some Soy Dream Butter Pecan Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert that I used when I first tried the ice cream cones out. Upon opening the box I was very glad to see that all of the cones were still intact, there is nothing worse than when you buy a thing of ice cream cones and some of them are broken, leaving them pretty useless. With all of the Organic Ice Cream Cones from Let's Do Organic intact I made use of one for me and one for my son.
Thankfully the Organic Ice Cream Cones from Let's Do Organic held up to me adding the ice cream to them. Non-dairy frozen desserts tend to be not as creamy as ice cream and straight out of the freezer can be a little bit harder to spoon out. I was in luck though because the ice cream cones were holding up just fine. I really liked that the had a flat bottom too. It can be a little frustrating when you want to set down your ice cream cone for a moment and you can not because it comes to a point on the bottom. Of course you can just hand it to someone however with only me and a toddler I don't think I would get my ice cream cone back if I asked my son to momentarily hold it for me. So this was a big plus for me. Most importantly though I thought that the Organic Ice Cream Cones from Let's Do Organic were really, really good. I was quite pleased with their taste and they complimented the ice cream wonderfully, I was so happy that I decided to try them out.
Just because I look at the nutrition facts of all of the foods that I eat I couldn't help but do this with the Organic Ice Cream Cones from Let's Do Organic. Of course I wasn't expecting anything especially great from them but I still was quite curious to see what it was that they had to offer. Each ice cream cone contained twenty-five calories and oddly enough five calories from fat. There was only ten milligrams of sodium in each ice cream cone as well as five grams of carbohydrates. These were hardly anything great but I didn't think that they were really bad either. I read the ingredients of the Organic Ice Cream Cones from Let's Do Organic to see what they were made of and what ingredients were making these nutrition facts. The ingredients of these organic ice cream cones are organic wheat flour, organic tapioca starch, organic palm oil, organic evaporated cane juice, organic soy lecithin, bicarbonate of soda and sea salt. I loved that they use sea salt and overall didn't think that the ingredients were bad at all, and thought it was great that they were vegan. I am very tempted to keep these wonderful ice cream cones on hand. I saw that for a gross of them, one hundred and forty-four cones, on Amazon.com and they are only about twenty-six dollars with free shipping. I would happily and highly recommend for anyone to try the Organic Ice Cream Cones from Let's Do Organic out.
