Juicy Organic Plums
I can't remember ever having a plum that was dry. Plums generally are at least somewhat juicy. But these plums were so juicy, well, they were just a plum juicy mess! No matter how much I tried to contain the juices during and after each bite, these juicy plums just kept making a mess because they were so deliciously juicy. I've never had plums even half as juicy as this batch of Organic Plum Bites from Melissa's, and that's no exaggeration.
Sweet Organic Plums
I've always liked plums. I've eaten many in my lifetime. I've eaten plums that I expected to be sweet but turned out to be sour and I've eaten plums that were pretty sweet. These Organic Plum Bites from Melissa's, which were grown by the Olson Family, by far are the sweetest plums I've ever eaten. I can honestly say that if I were to take the two sweetest plums I've ever eaten, both of them together still wouldn't add up to the sweetness of one Organic Plum Bite from Melissa's.
Tender Organic Plums
Plums that are tender are usually overripe plums, and they don't taste too good when they're overripe. But these plums were incredibly tender despite not being overripe. Its flesh was a joy to make a mess of while trying to contain every last sweet drop of juice from it. The skin on the plum was easy to eat too.
Beautifully Colored Organic Plums
Reddish-violet is now one of my favorite colors because of these Organic Plum Bites from Melissa's. I really enjoy colors to start, so once I bit into our first plum this morning, not only did the taste, smell and juiciness of it move me to ecstasy, but the very beautifully colored reddish-violet flesh too. The last of the three plums we ate was the darkest reddish-violet of them all too. What a treat!
My daughter was clamoring for the last plum left in the fruit bowl, but I told her we were going to save it for another time. She somewhat reluctantly acquiesced. Even though my wife doesn't really eat plums-and that's the reason why I rarely buy any sort of plum-that's going to change here shortly. My daughter and I will soon enjoy another package of Organic Plum Bites from Melissa's, as soon as we eat that last one we saved in the fruit bowl!
