For a very nominal fee, they deliver to you boxes of organic vegetables and fruit. What 'm hearing about the service is mixed bag, for sure. Lots of folks are saying they aren't very organized or were better organized when they first started. I've heard a couple of persons say that they're very reluctantly canceling their service with them, because after giving them chance after chance, they just can't chance it anymore with them. Orders are always wrong, sometimes terribly wrong. They don't credit the account if they failed to deliver something that they were supposed to deliver; it's very difficult to get them on the phone or by email, and so on.
Then again, a few others continue having success with them, perfect success even after years of deliveries. I suggest getting them on the horn for a while before paying them to start delivering.
Whether you choose to have organic fruits and vegetables delivered to you, and whether or not they do a good job at what they do, at the very least the business is a very respectable idea. Imagine that...something respectable and organic in Gowanus.
