Organic Strawberries Are Delicious Little Ruby Gems!

Well-Pict Organic Strawberries Are Worth the Price

Remember when you were a kid, and went with Grandma down to the Strawberry Patch to pick berries? Well, not everyone genuinely has that memory, but wouldn't you like to have had it? I bet those berries were as sweet and juicy as Mother Nature could make 'em, and as ripe and ruby red as Summertime. Well, look no further, as I have found that taste again. No more hard strawberries as big as an apple, yet sour and white in the center. Well-Pict Strawberries are the Real Deal, in flavor as well as price.

I was shopping at my neighborhood Kroger, admiring all the waxy, glossy produce when my eye caught a sale. Well-Pict Organic Strawberries on sale for 2 for $5.00! Usually I forgo a lot of the Organic Produce out there, because it's just too expensive. But at $2.50 for a one-pound carton, these berries defintiely were worth a shot.

Wow! I was not disappointed. As soon as I reached my kitchen, I was in for a better look. The fruit was the most beautiful shade of red throughout, and the berries were at the delicate peak of ripeness. These were far from most commercial farms' hard berries that could sit in your fridge for two weeks. I rinsed the fruit under the tap, and bit into a strawberry. The fruit melted in my mouth, juicy and sweet as all getout. Whoa Momma! This was not fruit that was going to last long in my household.

Berries are good in cereal, or baked in a pie. My Grandma used to make Strawberry Rhubarb pie. Strawberry Shortcake is a Perrineal Favorite, with whipped cream. But truly these berries are good enough just to eat as is, without dipping in sugar or any other adulteration. My husband and I finished off the carton in two days, and who knows, we may go back to the store for more tommorrow!

I would recommend Well-Pict Strawberries to anyone, especially when they're on sale. The end of Summer is the perfect time for strawberries, and as our days are mellowing slowly, it's good to hang on to those last lingering tastes of Summer and childhood. And, I believe in Organic. The taste was so far superior to most berries, and is much better for you. I read in a study that berries absorb more pesticide residue than other fruits and vegetables. You may be able to grow a berry that's as big as a tomato with genetic engineering, but you can't improve on the taste.
