Approximately 25 miles from Roanoke, this family owned and operated farm is located at 963 Eanes Road NE, Check, VA 24072. Cedric and Sarah Shannon, the farm's owners, are known for their humane treatment and high standards of care for the animals that live on the farm.
All of the resident turkeys of Weathertop Farm are pasture raised, cage free, and grass fed with 100% vegetarian feed used as a supplement. They are not given any added hormones or antibiotics. Their feed is obtained from a local mill that uses mostly grains from local producers.
