At first, I was very happy with the product as it didn't seem to cake like the Bare Escentuals mineral foundation and I thought this matched my skin tone very well, but I grew to hate Organic Wear Loose Powder very quickly.
First of all, this smells very weird. It has a very noticeable bamboo or some kind of a tree smell that is very strong and isn't all that pleasant. I first thought that the smell was coming from the brush, which is very stiff and sheds by the way, and I was very wrong. I used another brush and the smell was the same. The smell doesn't last, in fact, I never notice it except for the moment that I'm applying it, but why would I want to smell that every time that I put the powder on? I prefer no smell in makeup or skincare products and this awkward smell just does not attract me.
Well, let get to the part that really matters- coverage. This is yet another disappointment. I felt like I was putting on a clear powder. This did completely nothing. I can't even say that this is sheer, it's same as nothing, seriously.
At one point, I just wanted to use this up so I was trying to see if this absorbs oil or anything like that, but I don't know. I don't have an oily skin, so I can't really tell. As long as I'm concerned, this did completely nothing for me and I'll never use this again.
I was actually excited to try this because Physicians Formula had high ratings from its users and the original Talc-free formula is actually known for its coverage. I was hoping for a great coverage when I first tried this, so maybe it's where my biggest disappointment lies. Personally, I would never recommend this to anyone, and I think this is just a waste of money. Well. I guess it's nice that they have a organic products and that's why I first tried this products, but it was a big disappointment for me. I'd say that this isn't even worth a try even if you are looking to waste money.
