In a search to find just the right products for my naturally textured hair, it was difficult to get away from the petroleum based products that in essence sit on top of the strands of hair with no penetrating effect through the hair. I tried several products before I came across a series of Shea Butter hair and skin products. After realizing I needed to try Shea Butter for moisturizing and conditioning, I found Organics Shea Butter and Tea-Tree Oil Moisturizer in Target. It was surprising to find out Target sold African American hair care products other than pink lotion and grease.
Organics Shea Butter Moisturizer came in a cream and hair conditioner. I chose the hair conditioner because the contents inside the bottle felt thick and more of a natural product than the cream. The moisturizer was under $4 for a 6 oz bottle. This is not a lot of moisturizer considering one use of the product came be a palm full. Although the product may be frequently bought for use, as it gets used consistently the product will not have to be used as much. In the beginning of its use you will use it everyday, but as your hair begins to get nourished and moisturized it will only be needed every two to three days.
Organics Shea Butter Moisturizer serves many functions such as strengthening hair to add nutrients and moisture. The main function is moisturizing and it does an excellent job on any texture of hair, course, kinky, wavy and curly.
This product is for not just for naturally textured hair, it is also for relaxed hair but for someone with textured hair it works better than most natural hair products offered on the shelves in stores.
The ingredients are not harsh or damaging to the hair, they include soybean, olive oil, vitamin E, egg protein and herbal extracts which are all protective, healthy nutrients for the hair.
Organics Shea Butter and Tea-Tree Oil Moisturizer is an inexpensive product that is commonly found at Target, but may be available at other department stores. If you are having trouble finding a hair care product for your textured hair, Organics Shea Butter and Tea-Tree Oil Moisturizer will moisturize, condition and bring out the most of any hair style you have.

I luv Luv Luv this stuff...It helped me grow my edges back. i would put it morning and night !!
I will check this one out. Good article. Thanks for the info.
The Tea Tree Oil Moisturizer smells a bit strong, like menthol so that can deter one form using it (if you are talking about the blue one). I may be incorrect, and thinking about the "Cholesterol" brand. Good article....will have to check out the Organics line.
