Organizing a Couples' Retreat for Halloween

Date Night for Couples

Shamontiel
You may have been to a couple's retreat to try to rekindle your relationship or make it spicier. You may have been to a Halloween party. And we've all been on at least one double date or two. So why not incorporate all three and have a couples' retreat for Halloween that'll be the most fun and intimate party you've been to all year?

Here are steps on how to create this Halloween couples' party.

Step One:

Ask the guests to come in costumes that have similar themes, and let them be as creative as possible. If the wife is Nemo, then the husband can be a net. If the husband is Bill Cosby, then the wife has to dress like Claire Huxtable (suggestion: have a "naughty" lawyer costume).

Step Two:

Try to have the Halloween party outside around a campfire. If it's cool outside, even better. Supply extra blankets so each couple has to snuggle up together.

Step Three:

If the campfire idea works out, supply marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers to make s'mores. If the campfire idea doesn't work out, rent or buy a Fondue so the couple can make s'mores together.

Step Four:

Have drinking games where each couple has to taste a dish from their date blindfolded, but the item must be eaten off of each other's body (no hands or feeding utensils). If the person guesses the wrong food item, they have to take one shot.

Step Five:

Each couple should take turns telling their favorite Halloween story, regardless of whether it's a horror story, a funny story, a romantic vacation, a family memory or past memories. Telling old stories or favorite incidents tends to be relaxing, and if the stories are good, it will usually make the couples more comfortable around each other, not just each other.

Step Six:

Play games in teams that talk about something affiliated with relationships. If the game is Scrabble, then only words that describe a relationship or body parts or sexy messages can be used in the game. If it's a drawing game, then only draw photos about something to do with relationships (ex. wedding theme movies or favorite love stories).
