Quality: Orieda Zesties French Fries take too long to cook if you are baking them. I used this method twice and found that the suggested cook time almost doubles for this product. It is also disappointing that these Oreida French fries have to be turned over and cooked on each side to get crispy. An hour passed until I could get these fries even a little crispy after having to take time flipping each one over. While baking is healthier, it seems more efficient to just deep fry Orieda Zesties if you want them done in a short timeframe.
Price: Orieda Zesties French Fries are nearly $5 at regular price on grocery store shelves where I usually find this frozen food brand. The price for these French fries is steep but the amount you get probably makes up for the extra expense. I purchased Orieda Zesties French Fries when they were on sale at "2 for $5" rather than paying full price. This brand of French fries seems to be on sale often, providing a chance to save money when you can.
Taste Test: Orieda Zesties French Fries have a nice amount of seasoning on them. I enjoyed not having to put salt or extra seasoning on this frozen food product. These Orieda French fries were very flavorful but still had a bit of an aftertaste. They constantly reminded me that I purchased and cooked frozen fries, which was not a pleasant experience. The freezer bag flavor is one aspect of this Zesties flavor of Orieda French fries that will have to be improved before I consider purchasing another bag. There are other flavors of Orieda French fries that taste much better than these Zesties. The Country Style flavor of Orieda fries is one of many options that far succeed their Zesties selection.
Verdict: While the quantity of food in each bag of Orieda Zesties French Fries was large, it does not excuse hassles that come with heating them. The efforts to get these Orieda fries to become crispy took too long. The experience of preparing Orieda Zesties French Fries is very annoying. It is one thing that does not justify the price tag for this frozen food product. The freezer bag taste is another aspect of Orieda Zesties fries that do not make them a good choice when shopping for frozen food snacks.
