The 2005 Fund is the agency's largest mobilization of resources in its history for a single natural disaster.
Network Solutions is encouraging all of its customers to support relief organizations of their choice as they assist residents of the hurricane-ravaged Gulf Coast region.
Among them are AmeriCares (americares.org) and Network for Good (networkforgood.org) besides others listed on Network's website (Katrina-rescue.com).
Because of the size and nature of the relief efforts being conducted by all organizations, Network is reminding all donors that no matter what organization they donate to they should read all of the chosen organization's instructions regarding earmarking donations towards a specific cause before donating to ensure that donations are processed toward Hurricane Katrina Relief.
For example, all donations to the Red Cross 2005 Relief Fund should be earmarked either in the memo line of the check or on the online donation form to go towards the Hurricane 2005 Relief Fund.
