Orlando Dinner Show Medieval Times
Catch a Fun Dinner Show on Your Orlando Vacation at Medieval Times
You and your family go in and sit at your assigned seat. Then as your served your meal you get to watch a live action show. In the case of Medieval Times it's a dark ages jousting tournament between six knights. The shows has lots of horses with knights doing fantastic feats of horsemanship. There is sword fights, hand to hand combat, falconry and even a love story mixed in with a beautiful princess.
The king and queen in full costume sit above you as you and your family sit at your seat by the action. The dinner show last about two hours. They also have a Hall of Arms displaying medieval artifacts and a medieval torture museum. Oh yeah, they have a bar too! You are served a four course meal that is about the same for everyone, however they do have a vegetarian meal also.
In keeping with the theme of medieval times, they don't give you any eating utensils, expecting you to eat everything with your hands just like in the dark ages! If that really turns you off I'd ask the wife to sneak some forks in with her purse! Parking is free and seating arrangements is first come first served. I'd get there an hour before the show to see the displays and get a good table.
The dinner show is really great, as the knights have lots of practice and really do good sword fights and other fighting feats. The horses are beautiful and really part of the show. The dark ages costumes are very colorful and something to see. Reservations are highly recommended. So if a medieval times dinner show with knights sounds like your thing, this is a great place to go!
