Living in Hunter's Creek, Orlando
Hunter's Creek is divided into several neighborhoods with custom homes, luxury apartment complexes, waterfront properties and affordable apartments and condos. There are some gated communities in this area, and most areas are well-lit and safe for families. Some of the popular neighborhoods in Hunter's Creek include:

Many communities are located within a short walk or drive from one of the major parks in the area. Hunter's Creek is home to seven large parks, and some have outdoor play areas, picnic tables, tennis courts, racquetball courts and walking paths. Head to Osprey Park for local events sponsored by the Hunter's Creek Women's Association. You can spend an afternoon fishing at Eagle Park, or watch a soccer game at Vista Park.
Things to Do in Hunter's Creek, Orlando
The Village at Hunter's Creek is located on John Young Parkway at the intersection of SR 417, and is one of the primary shopping and dining hubs in the neighborhood. This space is home to a small park and playground that hosts a number of special events throughout the year. It's also the site of the Hunter's Creek Farmers Market that is held each Saturday morning.
Popular restaurants in this area include Miller's Ale House, House of Beer, Venezia Bakery, Padrino's Cuban Restaurant, Mikado Japanese Restaurant and Cold Stone Creamery. Popular stores in this area include Massage Envy, Stogies cigar shop, Mattress Barn and The Basket Case gourmet gift basket shop. Mojitos nightclub is located on the corner of The Village.
The LOOP is also located on John Young Parkway and is one of the area's premier shopping, dinign and entertainment destinations. It's home to a JCPenney department store, Belk, DSW Shoes, Kohl's, Ross, Bed Bath and Beyond, Old Navy and other premier retail stores. Head here to catch a movie at the Regal Cinema, enjoy some Ben & Jerry's ice cream, or grab some bargains at T.J. Maxx.
