Orlando Souvenirs - Off-Takes

Orlando is a great place to visit, here are a few more interesting, as well as a few off-beat ways of getting souvenirs while you are on your next vacation to Florida.

The Millenia mall has a few deals for coupons including a coupon good for a free souvenir shopping bag, as well as a coupon good for a $1 discount per person, per order at the Panera bread at this website: Millenia Mall Orlando Coupons

Another place to try is the Go Orlando Card, on line. I've received one of these cards, and my family really loved me for the souvenir stuff they got from the use of this little card. The Go Orlando Card offers many shopping discounts and souvenirs. Try the Go Orlando Card

What you should do to find cheap souvenirs is to take a walk to the local park, and volunteer a day or two of your services to clean up the local park, such as Wekiva Park. The Florida State Park services will give you a free olive drab polo shirt for your efforts, and you might be lucky to find a few things, amidst all the debris left behind by fellow tourists.

Another interesting souvenir, the license plate from Florida, is frequently found by way of taking a leisurely afternoon walk. These priceless souvenirs might be hanging on the walls of a concept restaurant along the lines of Ruby Tuesday's, Cracker Barrel, or Applebee's a decade or two from now, and these very same license plates litter the highways all over the Orlando metropolitan and suburban area.

Another good way of getting free souvenirs, while impressing the boss back at the office of how efficient you are, is by way of collecting business cards and pens, mini-calendars, stickers, and whatever else the office manager will give you. Of course, you will be needing to do a little show and tell ceremony back at the office, and might need an extra tote bag or suitcase to bring all these product samples back with you, or might need to spend $10 or more to have them shipped back to the office, for your presentation. Still, as long as you are working full-time in an office for a company, or even part-time, this is a great way to have fun while improving the economy.

Here's another tip: ask your hotel desk clerk if there are any churches or houses of worship within a few blocks of your hotel. A lot of these places have gift shops that are full of beautiful and inexpensive souvenirs with religious themes. A variety of things from bookmarks to place mats and more might be found at a local house of worship gift shop, as well as the usual religious texts and ornamentation.
