Orleans Bakers and Caterers Review

Go for the Outside Patio, Stay for the Bread Pudding

Located in downtown Grenada, MS is this quaint southern cafe and coffeeshop, goes by the name of Orleans Cafe and Caterers.

I went with a good friend of mine on a weeday for a late lunch and we ate in their outside patio with its spacious seating and downhome vibe. Our waitress was very friendly and dare i say perky, she was attentive coming to our table about 5 times throughout our meal.

We ordered from their main menu, the red beans and rice, and a grilled cheese with a baked potato salad for myself. All were good, except the beans and rice could have had more of a kick to them, the baked potato salad was really hearty with chunks of potato and the right mix of mayo and mustard.

But the kicker for me was their BREAD PUDDING, we ordered it to-go (as we were in a hurry) and it never made it to the house, we ate it in the car on our way home. It was warm, it was soft but with texture, and we topped it off with a bourbon sauce. ooohhh it was so good!

I recommend a stop at the Orleans Cafe, next time you're in this neck of the South. Per signage on walls, they have a live band on weekends.
