Orly Cosmic FX Collection: Out of This World Nail Polish

Gwendolyn Taylor
In follow up to their popular Foil FX collection, Orly is launching their new limited edition of nail polishes that will be sure to blow your mind and of those who see these nail polish colors on you. While most other popular nail polish brands are coming out with more dark and autumn themed colors, Orly has decided to come out with colors that are more attention grabbing and loaded with tons of shimmer. For those wanting to stand out this fall, these new polish colors are just the thing for you.

This collection boast three things unique: ducrhome effect, foil finish, and glass-like flecks. All three of these characteristics add extra shine and smoothness to the overall application and appearance. There are six colors total in this collection: It's Not Rocket Science (a mossy green with a hint of gold shimmer), Halley's Comet (a turquoise blue with a hint of blue-green shimmer), Galaxy Girl (a plum purple with a hint of iridescent shimmer), Lunar Eclipse (a bold true blue with a hint of pink and purple shimmer), Out Of This World (a deep purple with a hint of pink and gold shimmer), and Space Cadet (a combination of deep blue, purple, pink, and green, with a hint of corresponding colored shimmer). Halley's Comet and Lunar Eclipse are definite eye catchers, but Space Cadet knows all of them out of the park. It is probably the most different one out of the bunch and probably one of the most unique nail polish colors I have ever seen. If you get any color, Space Cadet is a definite must.

Orly nail polish products are available in drugstores such as CVS, specialty beauty stores such as ULTA, and online beauty retailers. Each individual bottle retails for about six to seven dollars. Sounds expensive? Not if you compare it to other popular salon brands, and the additional plus is that these polishes, like most other Orly polishes, are "3 Free". That means that these nail polishes are free of formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP, all potentially harmful and toxic ingredients commonly found in most nail polishes.
