Osama Bin Laden Finally Dead...Will It Change Anything?

Osama Bin Laden is finally dead. He is gone but will never be forgotten. As the buzz is circling the Internet and news stations, people are asking if this is the change that will stop the wars and will start to get us back to normal? I think the general consensus is, it will not be the end of the problems America is facing. Though his capture or death has been touted for years, as the end all and be all of the terror situation, everybody knows that it is a long way from being that easy.

What did the death of this horrible man actually do? Better yet, what didn't it do? It did not change the fact that the terrorist will continue to come after America. It doesn't change our economy's current status. It doesn't bring the cost of gas down. It doesn't ensure that our troops will be home anytime soon. It doesn't assure us that we are safe from 9-11 type attacks, because the mastermind is dead. It also doesn't change the Republicans opinion of our President.

As the news is buzzing across the country, the "Negative Nellies" are already out in the streets talking trash. Rumors that Osama Bin Laden has been dead since 2001 and other conspiracy theories have already started burning up the social networks. FOX news is on their rampage as usual. It is so hard for them to just say, "Good Job"! Does anybody really think that George Bush would have missed the opportunity to brag that Bin Laden was dead, whether he killed him or not! Not hardly! Lung infection or a bullet, dead is dead.

The Texas Cowboy mentality is strong around the Bush household and he would have shouted it from the rooftops. He wanted to get Bin Laden. By hook or by crook, it didn't matter. He wanted to get the credit for being in charge when Bin Laden was dead, no matter the cause. He would not have let the moment pass without claiming that credit. Do you think that President Obama would lie after the issues with his birth certificate brought out every crazy in America? No!

No matter, the naysayers, it is done. It is history being made! America has finally brought to deserved justice, this evil man. He has haunted and taunted us for over 10 years. He took the help America gave him many years ago and threw it back in our face. Now, he has gotten his just desserts. Good riddance!

The point of the celebrations breaking out across country, however, is not about it solving all of our problems. It is about American Pride and the need to find something good. With years of losing soldiers, being laughed at from across the World, the current economy, job losses and tornado's, America is road weary. We have seen a decline in our national pride and an outbreak of bickering, lies and attacks of both the character and the intentions of our leaders. This is the shot in the arm that America needed. We needed a boost in our confidence and our self worth. A boost that would insure us that we are still a great country.

That is the big significance of this situation. America needed something to grasp that would tell us, we are going to be OK. Though not the answer to finances or gas prices, this is a chance to stand together and be proud to be an American. I am proud to be an American and I am proud of our esteemed President and his efforts. It is a time to take things at face value, not fight about truths and stand for something other than doubt and discourse.

Shame on the Americans who are doubting this or who continue to use every opportunity to degrade our country even more. You are not patriots, you are big mouthed cowards who rather see America fall,than help make it great!

God Bless America today and forever! God Bless our President! God Bless the brave men and women who have fought so diligently to make this happen and to defend America around the world. God Bless This Country and the people who have continued to believe in it and the good of America! This was America at it's best. America cooperating to solve problems. Not partisant bickering and shows like the birther issue. This was across party lines and a concerted effort to bring this criminal to justice. To both provide satisfaction of years of hard work and to show the world that if you attack America and kill our people, we will spare no cost to come and find you!
