Osama Raid Video Being Released In Snippets, Will We Ever See The Whole Thing?
CNN broadcast portions of the Osama raid video Tuesday night on Issues With Jane Valez-Mitchell. In the grainy video, reportedly shot by a camera mounted on the helmet of one of the members of the Navy SEALs Team 6, we can see green, night-vision footage full of flashes, bangs and booms. What we don't see in the video portions released thus far is anyone taking fire. We see what appears to be a barrage or even an exchange of fire, but so far, no Osama Bin Laden death video has been made public. No bodies hitting the floor, no women used as shields. Nothing.
Osama Bin Laden Raid Video Shows Nasty Living Conditions of a Nasty Man
Besides the Osama Bin Laden raid video snippets available, video of the actual compound apparently taken in the aftermath of the Navy SEALs raid has also been released. You can check it out here on ABC.com. The footage shows dirty floors, piles of junk, and generally shabby conditions. Think, an episode of Hoarders at the half-way point, where they can now walk in the house, but it still looks like s**t and should probably be condemned. Navy SEALs Team 6 did redecorate a little, adding holes and piles of rubble here, some bloodstains there, all of which might have contributed slightly to the shabby look. (Improving it, in our opinion.) Still, one thing is clear: not only was Osama Bin Laden a dirty, stinking terrorist for a living, he was also a dirty, filthy pig at home!

Post a CommentI agree with Orchiolum that the photos would do nothing positive. The good news is that he is now no longer a threat. Great reporting.
Ooohhh Boooyyyy........ :o)
We will diminish ourselves if we release the actual death video and photos of bin Laden's bullet riddled corpse. We have a chance here to travel a higher path...I hope we have the sense to choose it. Release of the images will only serve to incite bin Laden's supporters and expose innocents and our military to increased danger and death. A nation with a decent moral compass would have no need to do that.
good info
