"The King's Speech"
The Academy loves movies about characters relying on their determination and spirit to overcome and triumph over physical or psychological roadblocks. "The King's Speech" was considered a top contender for nominations and will likely take home most of the prizes.

The Coen brothers did it again. There is a country for old men, after all. They may receive a directorial award, and if they're lucky, the Academy will split the awards between "The King's Speech and "True Grit."

Post a CommentI actually like Colin Firth and the King's Speech. Have not yet seen True Grit and can't wait to see how the Oscars roll out this year. Not sure I like the idea of 10 films. I think that is kind of overkill. Thoughts?
