This can be a great advantage as the ostrich is not delayed in stopping for water or looking for water. It has nutrition and all the drinks they need when they eat - how efficient! That is a very interesting characteristic that the ostrich does.

All the ostrich does is that when the ostrich senses danger, the ostrich goes and put its head flat on the ground, but since the head of the ostrich blends in with the soil, it seems that the ostrich is sticking its head on the ground.
