So many places I've never been
Roads continue on
All these houses, filled with people I will never know
An endless supply of humanity
An endless ribbon of road
I circle aimlessly, but with a goal
To see these places I've never seen
To see where the endless road goes
It's getting dark
Roads continue on
All these houses, filled with people I will never know
An endless supply of humanity
An endless ribbon of road
I circle aimlessly, but with a goal
To see these places I've never seen
To see where the endless road goes
It's getting dark

Post a CommentI like this, and have felt similarly when on the road.
I really like this..:)
Been there done that too. I love to just drive aimlessly and to go off exploring. You never know what you might come across. It's also fun to walk places, because you see a lot more detail than you do when you drive.
Enjoy the moments! siva
I love road trips, nice!
I also wonder about the people I will never meet. Great poem.
Nice poem. Glub is jealous.
I like this poem. Quite Whitmanesque.
This reminds of the Ventura Highway. It's very eloquent.
Well done.
