Otto the Octopus Finds Novel Ways to Relieve His Boredom
A Bored Octopus Turns Out the Lights and Takes Up Juggling
On several occasions staff at the aquarium arrives in the morning to find that a light that shone on Otto's tank had burned out, and that water pumps weren't working either.
Since these mysterious problems were a potential threat to the rest of the aquarium, workers decided to take it in shifts to spend the night in the aquarium to try and determine what was happening.
For the first couple of nights, nothing unusual happened, but on the third night, Otto was seen to swing onto the edge of his tank, and shoot a jet of water onto the 200w lamp above his tank, causing it to go out.
The lamp has now been moved further away, but who knows what Otto will get up to next.
On other occasions he was seen juggling hermit crabs that share his tank, and hurling stones against the glass of the tank.
Right now with the aquarium being closed for the winter, Otto has become bored, and since he craves attention, he has been doing anything to try and get it.
I think they need to install an "Otto-cam" so that Octopus fans from around the world can at least enjoy his antics even while the aquarium is shut.

Sounds like Otto needs a roommate!
These creatures are fascinating to begin with but I never thought they craved attention. Otto sounds like a bored teenager.
