When you are trying to find 3D Paper Craft kid's craft to do at a kid's birthday you can go broke with all the possibilities! But finding inexpensive yet entertaining 3D Paper Craft kid's crafts for kids parties don't have to break the bank! At my son's last Birthday party the kids all made 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cups which I then filled with goodies for them to take home.

Here are the basic steps to make inexpensive 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cups at your next kid's birthday party!

Supplies:

1) Plain white paper (Construction paper works well as does copy paper)
2) Yarn or ribbon (for handles)
3) An assortment of embellishments like: glitter, colored glue, confetti, buttons, feathers, cloth scraps, stickers, pom poms, and anything you may have left in the craft box!
4) Colored markers or crayons
5) Hole Punch

Directions:

A. Take a square piece of plain white construction paper or copy paper. The bigger the pieces of paper the bigger your 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cups will be. Have the children color on the paper using markers and crayons - even paint. They can even decorate their 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cups with stickers if they like. Just make sure at this point all decorations on your 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cups are flat. Only decorate one side - keep the other side plain as it will come in contact with food later.

B. Fold the paper in half diagonally with the flat side on the bottom and the point at the top forming a triangle. Make sure the colored side of the 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cups is on the outside.

C. Fold the upper right raw edge (the single top layer only) towards you and down to lie along the folded edge created in STEP B.

D. Unfold step B to leave a crease. Your 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cups should now look as they did in STEP B only with a crease.

E. Fold the right corner over towards the left so that the point meets with the end of the crease you just made in STEP C.

F. Repeat this move on the left side of your 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cup lining up the two folded edges so they are symmetrical and meet perfectly aligned together.

G. Fold the upper corner (top layer only) down tightly over the flaps folded in STEP E & F.

H. Repeat on the reverse side by folding the remaining flap forward.

I. Open the 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cup up and it is ready to be further embellished.

J. Take the hole punch and punch a hole in the 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cups on the two tips. Tie a piece of ribbon or yarn to form a handle for your 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cup.

At this point you can add let the kids go crazy adding as many additional decorations to their 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cups as they like. When they are done pop a small plastic bag of goodies into their 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cups and send them home with a smile and a neat 3D Paper Craft goodie-bag cup they will use over and over again!
