Our Favorite Kid Shows
Every Kid Loves to Watch TV, Try Out These Shows for Some Great Learning Opportunities of Fun!
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the Disney Channel is one of our top picks of kid's programming. The same characters we cherished when we were young are back with a new, hip charm to them. Join Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Goofy, Pluto and some other friends for some fantastic adventures! Each show teaches decision making, counting, colors and so much more.
Little Einsteins is another Disney Channel favorite. Four friends travel in Rocket heading for some musical adventures. Historic pieces of music, composures, paintings and their painters are featured on this show. Your child will learn different instruments, and the language of music throughout this show's episodes. Each show has a mission and your child will help accomplish it!
Higgly Town Heroes always has something going on and a new thing to discovery. This show features different careers that serve the people through out the country. Ordinary people come to life to show your child how to serve others as well as helping them gain an appreciation for all the servicemen they may encounter. Animals also come to life in this show. The fun twist to this show is all the people are wooden stack people that pop in and out of each other. Your child will also learn the basic principles of counting, colors, shapes and animals through out the episodes of this show.
Dora the Explorer is becoming a classic in all homes with young children. Dora and Boots go on adventures that any child loves to join. Delivering packages, attending parties and helping animals find their way home are just some of the adventures Dora and Boots will take your child on. This show is an excellent way for your child to learn simple Spanish words as well. Spanish counting, colors and descriptive words are taught in each episode.
Go, Diego, Go is a spin-off show from Dora. Created for young boys to have a role model, this show is a hit for boys and girls alike. Diego is an animal rescuer, so that is exactly what they do each episode. Fun facts are taught about each animal such as what they eat, where they sleep, how they move, and even the sounds they make. Your child will learn some simple Spanish as some of Diego's friends speak only Spanish in the show.
The Wonder Pets is a new, fun filled show for your children. The Wonder Pets are just that- full of wonder. How these little classroom pets can accomplish their missions is amazing! They travel the world helping animals that have gotten in trouble and need to be rescued. Through fun songs your child will accompany Linnie the guinea pig, Tuck the turtle and Ming Ming the duck throughout their world wide missions.
These are just some of the many programs that are available for your child's viewing. With so many children's shows you can easily find one that you feel suits your needs as well as your child's. Look for the local listing time of these shows and see what you think for yourself!
