Who stilled the raging sea
Still calms the baby's cry
And let's a mother sleep in peace
And in His presence lie.
Our God
Who guided as cloud by day
And pillow of fire by night
Though mountains and valleys brings us to serve
By His own powerful might.
Our God
Who came on Dove's wing
And as a rushing mighty wind
Continues to reveal Himself
As Master and as Friend.
Our God
Assured His people,
"I will make you "Fishers of Men."
He still commands us two by two-
"Go cast your nets again!"
Oh, God,
Our God, It is to Thee
We lift our prayer and praise.
Empower us to serve you faithfully
Now and all our days.

Post a CommentWonderfully written! I have just gotten into trying poetry, so love to read what others have done. I'm going to keep plugging along with more efforts along that line. Thanks for this.
Hallelujah.
