Our Health is Maintained Through Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spirtual Balance
The Seven Chakra System: the Keys to Health
The chakras are connected to the functions of our physical bodies through the endocrine and spinal systems. They follow within and without the body through the spinal contacts through the nerve pathways and circulatory system, offering all of the organs, cells and tissue the energy needed for a healthy balance.
The seven main chakras are points of bioelectric activity within the auric field with the hands and feet being other points of activity. Vibrations are absorbed thorough the chakras and these vibrations are transmitted into the vertebrae of the spine and along the nerve pathways to the organs and tissues.
The root or base chakra is located at the area of the coccyx at the base of the spine. It is tied to the functions of the circulatory system, reproduction system and the lower extremities. It is considered the basic life force center.
The spleen chakra is located near the navel and is tied to the function of the adrenal glands, reproductive system, and muscular system of the body. It is the major center for detoxification of the body.
The solar plexus chakra is located near the bottom of the ribs and influences the digestive system, the adrenals, stomach, liver and gall bladder. It is important to keep the solar plexus in balance because it also influences the left side of the brain. Crippling diseases ulcers, and intestinal problems can be eased by keeping it in balance.
The heart chakra is located at the center of the chest near the heart region and influences the heart, the circulatory system, the thymus gland and the immune system. It is also tied to the brain processes and the process of tissue regeneration.
The throat chakra is located in the throat area and ties into the function of the throat, esophagus, the mouth, teeth, the thyroid and parathyroid glands. It also influences the bronchial tubes and vocal cords.
The brow chakra located near the forehead influences the function of the pituitary gland and the entire endocrine system and immune system of the body. It is also linked to the sinuses, ears, eyes and the face.
The crown chakra, located at the crown of the head is tied to the functions of the nervous system and the entire skeletal system. It influences the pineal gland, nerve pathways and electrical synapses within the body and linked to the balanced function of the hemispheres of the brain.
Each chakra has a physical, emotional, mental and metaphysical effect on the body.
To maintain a healthy body and mind, it is very important to keep the chakras in balance.
