Our Kind of Perfect

Erin Stone
For you I would walk through forests
Through desert storms or snow storms
Any storms really, I'm not picky
You are the shining light
At the end of a dark tunnel
Very dark, and long come to think of it
I suffer to keep you, no fault of yours
I know it's hard for you as well
We'll show them all...one day
Our love is so terribly bittersweet
In this mess we routinely call life
Yes, it's hard for everyone, but we're definitely not everyone
Some things will never be the same because of us
Maybe for the better, maybe for the worst
We might just be too much for this world
I'm sarcastic, bitter, and angry
You're sarcastic, bitter, and angry
But together we're our own kind of perfect
