Our Loving Earth

Theresa Wiza
She breathes

She sighs

She realizes

we no longer care

She cries

She cares

But with her eyes she sees

her children wear

Deceiptful

masks

Of different gods who kill what

she creates

We grew

on her

She gave us birth - her love

never abates

She's wise

Her eyes

Are misty now because despite

Our birth

We'll die

With her

If we don't choose to love our

Mother Earth

So true... we need desperately to rethink our relationship with Mother Earth.

Very potent message, Theresa, within a very poignant poem.

Bravo....if we don't get on the band wagon now...she will go down in shame! Excellent analysis, Theresa! :)
