Our Moral Compass

Mike Perry
Our Moral Compass is Lost

Without this, there is nothing to trust,

For each truth that is told,

There is a lie that will unfold,

Our Moral Compass is Lost;

United we stand is not what we are,

The scales are unbalanced, it's tipping to far,

From one side being too good,

To be held accountable for what they should,

To the other side being to much like,

What everyone seemed to dislike,

Our Moral Compass is Lost;

Our country has once again failed to see,

What it really means to have honesty,

What it really means to give truth,

What it really means to have integrity,

What it really means to have dignity,

Our Moral Compass is Lost.
