Our Risen King

A Meditation for Easter

Mike Powers

Our King -
He is not here...
The stone is rolled away;
The tomb that held him is empty.
His burial cloth lies there on the floor.
Oh why do you seek the living
Among those that are dead?
He is risen!
Our King.

    Oh, I like what Jack said. The stone wasn't rolled away so Jesus could get out, but so we could see the tomb was empty. Everything is for our benefit!!
