Our Solar System in 2012 : End of the World?

Our solar system being a complex system of mathematical formulas and geometric shapes is quickly approaching a turning point. According to the Mayans predictions, in the year 2012 we will see a perfect assembly of all the planets in alignment. The effects of an alignment such as this are as of yet unknown. However, the imagination wanders and even concocts some theories of it's own.

Scientists today firmly believe that this event may have a strong impact on our gravitational pull. There are theories out there that a 10th planet exists beyond Jupiter just hidden away, and that this planet flows through a elliptical orbit more so then any of the other planets. This pattern more closely resembles the pattern of a meteor.

Scientific calculations show that, Pluto the ninth planet from the sun, is simply not big enough to affect Neptune, and Uranus's gravitational pull. Yet they have been seeing dissimilarities throughout history in these planets mathematical rotations.

If these theories where to prove true, we could find ourselves to have a 10th planet back in orbit around the sun very soon, but there are even more important questions we have to ask ourselves, such as how will this proximity of all the planets in alignment effect us on a universal level.

The common consensus is that each planets size, and magnitude creates it's capacity of gravitational pull, so it stands to reason that the same way earth has the moon orbiting around it, one day mars could be found orbiting Jupiter. Once this alignment occurs our current structure could change entirely. For instance, imagine if the proximity of mars to Jupiter narrowed enough so that Mars was pulled into Jupiter orbit, much like the Moon to Earth.

While movies and theorists believe that space is simply a void, this is not necessarily true and certainly not proven, as many have concurred that space may actually be made up of dark matter. Dark matter is a form of matter with a much higher density than anything within our atmosphere. This would explain a lot, however this does not mean that space is not filled with an empty vacuum, simply that space itself is not the source of the vacuum.

Where then does the vacuum stem from? In essence according to big bang theorists there once was a star(or sun) that went super nova causing shock waves to ripple through the milky way, and forcing out a wave of gasses and matter.

At the center of this a dwarf star or black hole, which sucked in all of the gases and ignited, this causing a domino effect to ensue, which created the planetary masses orbiting the sun.

Suffice it to say whether by vacuum or by gravitational pull ; the sun sucks everything into it much like a vortex or a maelstrom. The only thing preventing us from entering the suns atmosphere, in theory, is our current momentum which decays as we pull away from the sun, and regains it's rate of speed as we pass back through into it's orbit.

All this being said, and with a slightly better understanding of the situation, we are left with nothing but further questions as to how this may affect our mother earth, and in turn us. This could be the beginning, the end, or nothing at all. Yes, there are historical reports even before the Mayans, which suggest that this form of event may have occurred more then once. With all this evidence of past crisis in hand, one can only wonder, what is yet to come.
