Out of Control

Before the fall of the Roman Empire and the Egyptian's civilization, women were very loose and yet powerful. In Egypt it was said there were no women who were virgins. Maybe it is the end of America as we know it now. Maybe women say they want power and the ability to have a thousand lovers and they forget about the joys of motherhood and have been abused or ignored so they have no respect for themselves and sleep around. Men don't respect women like that. And they certainly don't marry them. Men are being emasculated and have lost their drive to be the leaders because women have demanded equality in the bedroom, in the board room and in the family. When it is Biblical that a woman should submit, or be supportive of their husband. It is also Biblical for the man to love his wife. But too many people are too hard and uncaring. In Song of Solomon, the woman and man, believed to be Solomon and his bride were loving and devoted and enjoyed each other fully. It is too bad that people have distorted God's gift of sexuality and abused their bodies.

Maybe instead of looking for another lover to heal their broken hearts, women and men should turn to God and ask him to heal them. Only in God's love are we complete. He wants us to live in peace and harmony. Expecting a spouse to take the place of God is like building your house on sand. A storm comes and blows it down, or he or she says something that hurts you and sends you looking for another love.

A home is supposed to be peaceful and loving, it doesn't have to be big and full of lies and deceit like a soap opera. Sure its interesting, but do you really want to live stressed out? I had an example of a loving Christian home from my friend Marilyn G. They had dinner together and went to church and were very respectful of each other even if they didn't have a lot of money.

I've also met non Christians who had it all, yet had tried to commit suicide. They felt like their life was not worth living. All the joy was gone. One girl was very beautiful but men didn't respect her and they slept with her and didn't marry her. She was a model and had done coke and heroin and tried to overdose on medication.

I tried to show her Christ's love and she calmed down and healed of a disease. You can't count on the world to make you happy. Happiness comes from knowing you are loved by God. Maybe you're family was abusive, but God's love is perfect and he wants you to read the bible and spend time with him. If you grow strong in God's word and know that you are priceless, people won't abuse you anymore.

If you treat your body with respect and think kind things of yourself and stop beating yourself up, things will get better. If you have a victim mentality, you will keep being a victim. My family wasn't a Christian family, and I wanted desperately to be perfect. I was miserable until I realized everything isn't perfect, but I am breathing air and my body wants to heal and even though I had worried myself sick, it could get better. And so now I have a cool job and a suitor and I look better than ever.

If you think your missing out on life because you're a Christian, just know that women who are promiscuous are really just messed up and can't keep a man, and be grateful that you have enough morals not to do that. I think it is much more respectable to date a man that wants to marry you rather than to give yourself up to a bunch of men just because they want you. Maybe you should count your blessings. You're beautiful and loved by God and he will never forsake you. Even if you do have sex or do drugs or just screw everything up.
