Out on a Fantasy Football Limb Volume 5

Ryan Lester
I'm going back out on that fantasy football limb. I will pick five players I believe will score more points this week than a higher profile player. The scoring will be 6 points for rushing or receiving TD, 4 points for a passing TD, .1 points per yard for rushing or receiving and .05 points per passing yard. I will also do a Super Stretch Pick where I take a real longshot. First, I'll recap last week.

Last Week
Brian Griese 23.1 beat Jeff Garcia 15.8 as I predicted.
Marion Barber III 7.2 Willie Parker 6.6 as I predicted.
Brian Leonard 5.9 beat Jerious Norwood 4.5 as I predicted.
Braylon Edwards 15.7 beat Kevin Curtis 2.1 WHICH I GOT WRONG.
Marvin Harrison 0.8 beat Javon Walker 0.0 WHICH I GOT WRONG.
Walker didn't play. Harrison got hurt. Pretty much a wash.

Super Stretch
Larry Fitzgerald 12.3 beat Wes Welker 4.9 WHICH I GOT WRONG.

Season Record: 11-9 Regular Picks, 3-1 Super Stretch Picks, 14-10 Overall
QB: 3-1, RB: 8-3, WR: 3-6

This Week's Picks
Jon Kitna over Peyton Manning
Bring on the Big Gun. Kitna should be airing it out aginst Washington. Tampa will slightly slow down Manning. That's my thought anyway.

Edgerrin James over Frank Gore
St. Louis is falling apart. Look for Edge to roll over them. Gore gets to face Baltimore. Any questions?

Michael Pittman over Cedric Benson
Pittman will have to share carries with Earnest Graham, but he still hould outproduce sucky Cedric Benson.

Brandon Marshall over Braylon Edwards
With Javon Walker and Travis Henry banged up, Marshall will be called upon heavily. Edwards gets to deal with Asante Samuel.

Roy Williams over Steve Smith
Roy will run wild against Washington. Steve Smith is in a major slump.

SUPER STRETCH
Gus Frerotte over Matt Hasselbeck
Gus is getting the nod because of Bulger's rib injury. Matt travels to Pittsburgh. It's going to be a long day for Matt.

What did you think of my predictions? Do you have any fantasy upsets in mind? Please leave your comments.

Maybe so, but he plays Baltimore. Plus, without Smith they can load the box on him.
