If you are looking for a fun weekend in the Forney area, this is a great weekend to come out and enjoy yourself.
Location: First Baptist Church- 1003 College Street, Forney, Tx.
The 2009 All-American Outdoor Expo schedule includes the following:
Friday, October 23- Women's Dinner
Time: 6-9 pm in the Great Hall with guest speaker Edwina Patterson. Tickets are $10 per person and there will be door prizes.
Saturday, October 24-Outdoor Expo and Children's Extravaganza
Time: 10 am- 4 pm. There will be vendor booths, a dog show, inflatables and a quarterback demonstration with Randy McGown. There will also be horse demonstrations and pony rides, a catch and release fish tank, camper show, car show, petting zoo, games and lots of other fun activities for the family.
Amazing Bird Dog Show at 11:30 am and 2 pm.
Saturday (night), October 24- Men's BBQ Dinner (at North Forney High School)
Time: 5 pm contests begin, dinner from 6 pm-9 pm.
Sunday, October 25 at First Baptist Church
Community Services at 8, 9:30 and 11 am as well as 6 pm.
Student Extreme
Time: 3 pm 4 on 4 Sports Tournaments
5 pm Free Pizza
6 pm Band and Illusionist
Other than the men's and women's dinners, the whole event is free. In these hard economic times, a fun and free event is a great way to spend a weekend with the family. I'll definitely be there and I hope to see you there as well.
