The first question you may have about Outright is the safety of its use. With all of your private customer or client data-you definitely don't need it open for other's prying eyes. Company information needs to be kept very private-as well as your small business accounting information as well. All of the information typed into Outright is all kept encrypted. Each web-page URL begins with "HTTPS" meaning its located on a very secure server. Your account is also password protected-and your password is even encrypted.
Currently the Outright Accounting website is only available for use in the United States. Possibly in the future, it will open its doors to other foreign tax systems and currency. There have been some added customizations for a few selected states as well.
A great plus of Outright is that the website is free for your personal and business use! This is a great plus for your home or small business. It allows you to enter all of your business categories, vendors and customers. You can keep track of monthly expenses and income. It also keeps each transaction categorized into its own separate month. You can print reports for the select months that you would like or even for the year. This allows you to compare which customers are bringing in the most income or where your business is spending the most money. You can also view the data in a pie or bar graph.
For a little less stress during the upcoming tax season, the website will estimate the cost of your profit and your tax calculations. It also lets you know when its time to file your quarterly payments and/or statements. The calculations will show a profit or a loss within your business. If you would like to back up your data or print it for your own needs, you can export it into a spreadsheet that you can save for your own future use.
If you are an avid PayPal user, Outright also lets you attach your PayPal account to the website. You can keep track of incoming PayPal payments or outgoing expenses paid through PayPal. Those transactions will automatically show in your account on Outright-making less data information for you to enter. For those that bid and/or sell on eBay-you can also keep track of those transactions too. eBay will automatically import the past 90 days of history, and any others before that-you are welcome to enter in yourself.
Overall, if you are looking for a budget friendly, free and reliant website to keep track of your accounting without a lot of hard work, Outright could be the answer for your business. It allows you to focus more time on your business without the stress of handling all of the accounting aspects. This website could work best for freelance writers, small business owners or craftsman who sell products, eBay store owners or even daycare providers. Since there isn't a cost, it is easy to give the website a trial of your own to test how well it will work for your business or accounting purpose. If it seems to work for you, then you may just decide that Outright-is alright for your business.

Post a CommentI also recommend checking out an online CPA for making sure the accounting is done in terms of what the IRS is looking for. For instance, check out www.Jankovicllc.com.
