Over the Counter Sleep Aid Simply Sleep: A Personal Review

Tfurby
When I find myself having a hard time falling asleep I take the over the counter sleep aid called Simply Sleep. This is a wonderful sleep aid that can be bought over the counter at almost every drug store, department store or supermarket. It is very reasonably priced $5.49 for 24 tablets, has few side affects and actually works toward helping me get the sleep that I so desperately need.

It is normal from time to time to have trouble falling asleep. Whether this problem arises from stress, nerves, being overtired or just plain worry over things that are happening in your life. Not being able to sleep will become very frustrating if something is not done about it. This condition also takes a toll on our body and our mental function. That is where the over the counter sleep aid, called Simply Sleep comes in handy.

A few good qualities that I like about this over the counter sleep aid, Simply Sleep, is that it is not habit forming and it is safe enough to be administered to children 12 years of age and over. But you should NOT give it to a child UNDER the age of 12 years old. This product does not contain any pain reliever and it helps you to fall asleep really quickly. When you wake up in the morning you don't experience that "drugged" or "dopey" feeling that you get sometimes with other over the counter sleep aids.

There are a few other things to consider as well, before you rush to the store to purchase this product.

You should talk to your doctor before you take Simply Sleep if you have breathing problems, an enlarged prostrate, glaucoma, if you are pregnant or breast feeding, taking tranquilizers or sedatives or if you are using any form of the drug diphenhydramine, even if the drug is only rubbed onto the skin.

A few more things that need to be thought about when taking Simply Sleep or any over the counter sleep aid for that matter. You cannot drink alcoholic beverages while taking this sleep aid. This product will make you very sleepy and impair your mental alertness, so you should not drive a car or operate any machinery. Of course, if you are trying to go to sleep, why would you be attempting to do this type of activity?

The occasional few nights of not being able to fall asleep is nothing to worry about. With the hectic lifestyles we all lead it is no wonder we have trouble falling asleep. Simply Sleep can take care of that. But, if you suffer from problems of falling asleep for more than 2 weeks, you should really seek advice from your health care provider. Insomnia can sometimes be a symptom of something more serious.
