Over the Limit: 2011 Predictions

Over the Limit Will Be Live on Pay Per View (PPV), Sunday May 22nd 8PM ET

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP I QUIT MATCH: John Cena (Champion) vs. The Miz

If Cena plans on remaining Champion he will have to defeat The Miz in an ''¹..."I Quit Match'. The Miz has the advantage going into this match, with Alex Riley at his side. Cena will have to fight off both The Miz and Riley, which he will have no problem doing. Last month at Extreme Rules, Cena won the WWE Championship by defeating The Miz and John Morrison. It would not make sense to take the Championship off The Miz and give it back to him one month later. For those reasons I'm giving the victory to Cena.

Winner: John Cena

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Randy Orton (Champion) vs. Christian

Christian won the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules by defeating Alberto Del Rio in a ''¹..."Ladder Match'. Five days later Christian lost the Championship when Randy Orton defeated him on SmackDown. Now Christian will have the opportunity to win the World Heavyweight Championship once again. Despite having the opportunity, Christian will be leaving Over The Limit without the Championship. Obviously WWE does not want Christian as Champion. Otherwise they would have let him remain Champion longer than five days. For those reasons I'm giving the victory to Orton.

Winner: Randy Orton

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Wade Barrett (Champion) vs. Ezekiel Jackson

Wade Barrett has the advantage going into this match. Barrett has fellow members of The Corre, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater at his side. Ezekiel Jackson use to be a member of The Corre, until he became bigger than the group. The Corre did not appreciate Jackson trying to get all the credit. To get back at Jackson, The Corre attacked him and removed him from the group. A week later Jackson tried to get revenge on The Corre; However, he was out numbered and beat down for a second week in a row. At Over The Limit, The Corre will have another opportunity to beat down Jackson. That opportunity also brings its risks. Those risks include Gabriel or Slater accidentally hitting Barrett and costing him the Intercontinental Championship. For those reasons I'm giving the victory to Ezekiel Jackson.

Winner: New Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Kane & The Big Show (Champions) vs. CM Punk & Mason Ryan

In recent weeks WWE has been showing Ryan as a POWER HOUSE. He took out both Kane and The Big Show without the help of The New Nexus. If the WWE wants to continue showing Ryan as a POWER HOUSE, they should let him win the WWE Tag Team Championships. Even though Ryan and Punk should win one thing stands in their way. The thing standing in their way is Punk's status within the company. Rumors were flying around that Punk had not signed a new deal with the WWE. That was the reason I predicted him to lose at Extreme Rules. If the rumors are true and Punk is leaving the company, it would not make sense to give him Championship gold. For those reasons I'm giving the victory to Kane and The Big Show.

Winners: Kane and The Big Show

KISS MY FOOT MATCH: Jerry 'The King' Lawler vs. Michael Cole

Michael Cole turned down Lawler's challenge on Raw and announced he was going to retire undefeated. Than Cole made fun of Lawler's dead mother, sending Lawler into a rage. Lawler attacked Cole, until he was rescued by Jack Swagger. After rescuing Cole, Swagger announced that Cole accepts Lawler's challenge. Swagger's announcement will end up costing Cole his undefeated streak. Cole got lucky when he defeated Lawler at Wrestle Mania XXVII. He also got lucky at Extreme Rules when he defeated Lawler and Jim Ross with the help of Swagger. It's finally time for Cole's luck to run out. I never thought Cole would win at Wrestle Mania XXVII or at Extreme Rules. Cole is an announcer which is why he should not be defeating Lawler. For those reasons I'm giving the victory to Lawler.

Winner: Jerry 'The King' Lawler

MATCH: R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio was drafted to Raw during the WWE Draft. Allowing Mysterio to win would get him over with the Raw fans. The bad news for Mysterio is that R-Truth recently turned heel. If the WWE wants R-Truth to remain a heel. They should allow him to pick up a cheap victory over Mysterio. For those reasons I'm giving the victory to R-Truth.

Winner: R-Truth

MATCH: Sin Cara vs. Chavo Guerrero

Sin Cara has the most to gain from winning this match. Sin Cara is still new within the WWE. He started his career on Raw but was moved to SmackDown a few weeks later during the WWE Draft. Since coming over to SmackDown, Guerrero has been claiming that Sin Cara is a fraud. Guerrero claims that Sin Cara stole all of his wrestling moves. Sin Cara will get the chance to prove that he did not steal Guerrero's moves by defeating him at Over The Limit. Guerrero is the veteran. Picking up the victory over Sin Cara will do him no good. For those reasons I'm giving the victory to Sin Cara.

Winner: Sin Cara

DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Brie Bella (Champion) vs. Kelly Kelly

The result of this match depends on Kharma. I have no doubt that Kharma is going to come out during or after the match. If Kharma comes out during the match she could be a distraction to Brie Bella allowing Kelly Kelly to pick up the victory. She could also cause Kelly Kelly or Bella to get disqualified by interfering in the match. If Kharma waits to attack until the match is over Kelly Kelly would most likely pick up the victory. Kelly Kelly has the best shot at winning no matter what Kharma does. Kelly Kelly was recently ranked number 82 in the Maxim Hot 100. Since Kelly Kelly has been in the news for being added to the list, I think the WWE will award her with the Divas Championship to see if they could gain some more publicity. For those reasons I'm giving the victory to Kelly Kelly.

Winner: New Divas Champion Kelly Kelly

Thanks for the comment. Yeah. It's sad that I don't know if I'm a Ryder fan or not because they barely use him. Right, I love Raw - but that's the exact reason why I wanted Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. on Smackdown. Cody's doing well on SD right now in my opinion, and I feel a move back to Raw wouldn't really help; he'd get lost in the shuffle. And I love Ted, but he's been lost in the shuffle. :-/ So I'm hoping the move to SD helps him out. Maybe they should've considered drafting Ryder to SD. But maybe they'll finally start using him, 'cause he does seem like he's entertaining! Whoooa, long comment - sorry lol.

I trust your judgment and if you are giving it to Lawler, that's good enough for me.
