Produced by David Kershenbaum and Kevin Killen, Justyna Kelley's debut album Over the Moon takes listeners through a musical journey of life, love, and perseverance through voice and lyrics. In the guitar ballad "Stay", Kelley begins the musical journey by singing about a fading love. In the song, the strumming of the guitar narrates the sadness of the story while Kelley displays her emotional feelings through the lyrics "...I know that I'm losing you./But I'm too lonely to say/..you come you go/but you never stay.../" The track "Pushover" is the ultimate power-anthem, provoking listeners in similar situations to not be treated as a "doormat" or a "pushover". Slightly reminiscent to Shania Twain's musical sounds, Kelley displays her aggressive Pop-Rock style in "Pushover". In the track "The One I Love". Kelley switches gears by singing of romantic feelings to her significant other. In the up-beat tune, Kelley sings of imagery, thoughts, and feelings through lyrics such as, "...walking nowhere hand in hand/Spell it out there right across the sand/the one I love.../". At a young age, Justyna Kelley was first exposed to music as her mother, Irene Kelley, held impromptu jams with various musicians at her home. From that moment on, Kelley felt intrigued by the sounds of music and developed a strong interest in this hobby. After being inspired by pop music icons James Taylor and Joni Mitchell, Kelley began to take an extreme interest in vocals, guitar, and piano.
