Over the River Cafe at Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Hotel Review

Amy Brantley
I love a good buffet, I also love a perfectly cooked piece of prime rib. When my boyfriend and I visited the Over the River Cafe at Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Hotel, I must admit I was blown away. What was it that made the restaurant so perfect?

First of all, the Over the River Cafe at Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Hotel is located on the second floor of the hotel. The price of the dinner buffet is around $30 for two people. You have the option to purchase main entrees once you are seated in the restaurant, in addition to the buffet. You can also purchase wine, if you so choose.

The Over the River Cafe offers a wonderful selection of high quality dishes. Whether you're a beef lover or in the mood for a bit of homestyle food, the Over the River Cafe has exactly what you're looking for. Buffet selections include prime rib, roasted pork tenderloin, salmon, pasta dishes, roasted vegetables, roast beef in gravy, fried chicken, a salad bar and a huge dessert bar. These are just some of the top offerings. You can also order seafood, beef tips and other entrees from the menu.

A review of the Over the River Cafe at Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Hotel wouldn't be complete without mentioning the beauty of the restaurant. It is by far one of the most beautiful restaurants in Western North Carolina and certainly in Cherokee, North Carolina. The atmosphere is soothing, romantic and suits the high quality of the meals offered by the restaurant.

The selection and atmosphere are wonderful, but the real star of the Over the River Cafe is the taste and quality of the food. The prime rib was perfectly cooked, the salmon was some of the best I've ever had and the desserts will knock your socks off. I could not be happier about how the food tasted.

I give the Over the River Cafe at Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Hotel 5 out of 5 stars. If you have a chance to visit this fine restaurant, I highly recommend doing so. It's by far one of the best restaurants the casino has ever had.

This restaurant sounds lovely. Just the thought of the huge dessert bar would be enough to tempt me!
