Overcoming Obstacles

Shana Davis
Obstacles...we all have them. So why does it appear that some people are able to overcome their obstacles with ease while others continually get stuck in their own self condemnation, going around and around and around in a circle until they give up and give into their addictions? Why do some obstacles appear to be more intense than others? Could it be the way that someone is or was raised with thoughts of limitations that could keep someone stuck in their situation of having to deal with constant obstacles? Could it be that some people are just comfortable being complacent for fear of how their life will change when they overcome the obstacles in front of them? The difference I believe, is in us as individuals because it's really easy to blame everything and everybody for your problems especially if you really believe that is the truth. But once you have considered yourself a victim, you have taken yourself out of the experiences of life where your only reality is quiet desperation. No one cares about your problems until you care enough about yourself to change them.

Everyone is capable of overcoming their obstacles because most of the time they're illusions created by our deepest fears that we too often bring into reality by continually focusing on what we don't want, according to the law of attraction. Other times they're there because they have to be, to remind us that were are not alone in this universe and to let go and let God. Either way all obstacles can be overcome. The only person who can ever really hold you back, is you. But then there is karma what you put out there into the universe will definitely return to you. So when it returns to you in the form of the biggest obstacle of your life, learn from it and just know next time to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Unstick yourself from your obstacles by choosing different. The choice is yours. Do you overcome your obstacles with ease because you know you can? Knowing that they're your fears being mirrored back to you or do you make excuses as to why you are the only one suffering, having to overcome everything in life. It's the power of choice. Once you have considered yourself a victim you have already set yourself up to lose. Overcoming obstacles is a lot easier than you think once you realize your power of choice.
