Overcoming Tragedy

Tragedy are the hands
tearing this world apart,
stealing lives away from future.
Tears are the rain thundering down,
flooding the corridors of our hearts,
and no sun could shine
this turmoil away.
The world is still reeling,
and tragedy lingers still.
Some say this world will end,
and in a blink of an eye,
we could be gone,
lost in tragedy.
But we forget hope.
Hope slipped from Pandora's Box
and struggles against the waves of torment.
We can't give up
but stand strong.
The hands of tragedy
may tear this world down,
but the arms of love,
embrace
will hold us together,
heal
what was broken.
And we will start over again.
