The king cobra is a well respected predator in the wild. There most common habit is in the tropic areas where it is very hot and humid. You can always see them near the rivers and the swamp areas. King cobra's are real warriors they even eat other snakes. Growing up to about eighteen feet and their fangs about a half inch is no predator that should be played are with. The venom that those snakes have in them can paralyze the immune and nervous system swiftly. This king cobra is also know for being able to spit out venom mostly trying to hit his prey eyes blinding the prey and making the prey unable to defend itself for the king cobra to attack and possible kill instantly. Being aware of your surroundings when you may be in a area that have king cobra's would be of best interest to yourself. When a king cobra spreads it's hood that means he feels threaten or is angry. The cobra will raise his body up when this occur to prepare for attack.

The venom from the king cobra snakes are being studied in hopes that it will help with certain types of viruses. It has been noted that an king cobra snake can kill an elephant with just one single bite. When anyone is bit by a King cobra if not treated instantly you will probably die in about 10 to 15 minutes. The king cobra's have a very unique sense of small with the coordination with there tongue. In places like India there have been known to be a lot of snake charmers. Some snake charmers do this just for entertainment moving there body to music to control these venomous snakes and some charmer look at this movement as a religion that worship them this is God to them.

Studies show that the most major time you are at risk for being bitten is when near a nest or near there young. You are also at risk if the snake feels closed in by you. They are the most smartest of all the snake families, highly intelligent. King cobra snakes sheds at least five to six times per year. They are the only snake that make nests for there eggs, the mother snake carries the eggs for about two months and then she lay them and it normally hatch in about eight weeks. The mother snake will perfect her nest the whole time until her eggs are hatched. Some researchers have said that when a human walks up on a snake nest the mother will leave for what reason it is not known. That is not to say that it is the least bit okay to approach a nest but it has been known to flee. Any human is taking a big risk being near a king cobra if you have no experience with them so to approach their nest could be fatal. These snakes have been know to be very unpredictable. When an baby king cobra hatches it is already ready to hunt now that's deadly. They are also already born with venom that have just as much venom as a full grown king cobra and will attack as well. Interesting is not the word for these snakes that are amazing. Amazing but can be deadly and risky so if you have much experience with snakes, but you would like to get into the field of learning with hands on experience the king cobra shouldn't be one to start off with so with a snake that is less deadly and work your way up and always do your research first.
