Own Your Favorite Celebrity Smile.

Miss Jac
You can already buy a knock-off of the million dollar purse your favorite celebrity carries around. You can decorate your home with their dishes, curtains, and bed sheets if you so desire, but did you know that you can now own your favorite celebrities' teeth? Well it's true and it's the new dental cosmetic procedure that is sweeping the nation.

So, if your mood is a little more Angelina Jolie today and you think you'll feel a little more Catherine Zeta Jones tomorrow, you can now show the world those feelings through your smile.

The teeth are 'snap-on' meaning they are literally snapped into place over top of your own existing teeth and can be taken in or out at your own discretion. This may be the pinnacle of our celebrity-obsessed culture, now even our own teeth aren't good enough. But besides celebrity snap-on teeth pointing out the shortcomings we feel as non-celebrities, it also shines a light on the good. Meaning the leaps and bounds that cosmetic dentistry has experienced as of late.

These snap-on teeth go for about 1,000 to 3,000 dollars (does that mean that Brad Pitt's teeth go for more, than say, a D-list celeb like Kathy Griffin?)

Ms. Halle Berry takes the top tooth spot as she is the most requested smile by patients. Joining her in the most coveted smile category is Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, and Sarah Jessica Parker (Aw, What? No Austin Powers?).

There are only a few dentists across the country that provide the celebrity snap-on teeth at this time, but surely soon enough dentists all over will be jumping on the celeb teeth bandwagon. These plastic snap on teeth will never do the job of your very own teeth though, as you can only eat yogurt and substances like mashed potatoes while you have the teeth in place. However, with proper cleaning and care the teeth should last many years.

After doing a little online research I found pictures of the snap on teeth, and honestly they look pretty good. It's amazing how much like actual teeth that they look considering you snap them onto your own smile. As I get older I'm learning to accept myself more and more, and I love a good celebrity gossip story just as much as the next person but I think I'll at least keep my own teeth. And I would hate to think that one day everyone who smiles at me will look like a Reese Witherspoon.
