The body of 62-year-old Jimi Heselden and his Segway personal transporter had been found in the River Wharfe. A witness reported having seen a man fall Sunday from a 30-foot height into the river near the village of Boston Spa, approximately 140 miles north of London.
"The incident is not believed to be suspicious," police report.
Specific details on the circumstances surrounding Heselden's death raise new questions over the Segway's safety record − concerns that have been voiced before.
