Oxi Clean Laundry Stain Remover

With children, clothes always get stains on them. Especially with boys. I have a thirteen year old son that just gets everything all over him. He loves to hunt and fish, so I usually have a lot of dirt ground in to his clothes, not to mention blood stains. On top of that, he plays football for the school's seventh grade team. So, I get to see a lot of stains come into the laundry room and I've tried several different products.

My absolute favorite stain remover is the Oxi Clean Laundry Stain Remover. Just like it says on the label, it is "unbeatable" and "fast acting"! For once, there is a product that lives up to all expectations.

The cost for it is reasonable and competitive with any other stain remover. It runs around $3 for a 21.5 FL OZ bottle at the local Wal-Mart. The bottle will last a while, too. A little goes a long way with this stuff.

The most effective way to use it, is to spray it on the stained area, rub it in and then leave it to set overnight. Sometimes I don't have time to let it set overnight, so even just 30 minutes will do. I use it in combination with Arm and Hammer Laundry detergent that also contains Oxi Clean. I have not yet found a stain that this formula won't get out.

Not only do I use it on my son's clothes, but I use it on my husband's. He is an equipment operator and most days comes in covered in dirt, grease and red clay. Oxi Clean gets the stains out so he can put them right back in the next work day!

I also have a bad habit of splattering food and grease on myself when I'm cooking. Oxi Clean has done a great job of getting out those stains from my clothes. I have to admit, I've never tried it on a wine stain, because we don't drink wine, but I'm willing to bet that it would.

I think this product is the greatest in it's league! It has a great fresh scent that isn't overpowering and isn't too thick or too thin. Someone finally got stain removal right this time!
