Oxygen: Finding the Foundation of Health

Steve B
When someone builds a house, they look for strong building materials. If they want that house to last for many years, they also look for materials that will stand the test of time. When builders start thinking of the plans they have, they start with the earth. When a concrete foundation is laid, it must be strong enough to hold the house and not crack. The foundation is what will be holding the house for years. It is not that much different with health. You are made of those external things that become a part of you, plus whatever it is that you also add to the mix. What is your foundation ? What are you basically made of ? The parts you are made of make up the atomosphere you have in your body. This atmosphere inside your body is what will give you your health or the lack of it.

What is the first thing that becomes a part of you when you enter the world ? It is that first breath. You take in a breath, your lungs start functioning without the help of your Mother for once, and boom, you are now taking your very first step towards independence, even at birth. The breath is also the last thing to leave your body for 99 percent of everyone. Do you think oxygen is perhaps important to health ? It is paramount. Believe it or not, it is the foundation for health. It is the building block used for all your life helping every cell to accomplish its mission in making you an animated being. Take a look at this article, and you will find the oxygen level you may or may not have, will determine whether your personal "house" has the ability to last, and is strong or not.

The human body is somewhere around seventy or more percent water. Water's chemical classification is H2O. That means for every two parts of hydrogen, there is one part of oxygen. You can live without water for a little while, but you will live without oxygen for just a few minutes. Your body right at this moment has a certain level of oxygen in every cell. This level can be measured. For basic optimum health, each cell should have the correct amount of oxygen to do its work. Remember, oxygen is the foundation of health, and the atmosphere you provide inside your body with this same oxygen will determine how strong your foundation is. Just as concrete is mixed in the right proportions, or it will become a weak ingredient in the foundation of a house, so also too much oxygen is not good. There needs to be a balance, and this balance has a name, called the PH level.

Farmers have used the PH level for years to help them have healthy, abundant crops. They test the soil with a strip of paper called PH paper. You can use this same paper to determine your own PH-level safely. There are varying ways to determine PH level, and this article will not cover them in detail. Suffice it to say, this little thing calld PH paper will without a doubt tell you what your foundation of health is like. A balanced blood PH level is around seven. You do not have to draw blood, because the PH level can also be tested from saliva. It can also be tested from urine. Whichever way you use, the oxygen ( PH ) level will tell you loud and clear how strong your basic health is.

As a small but significant ( more so for me than for you ) example, I have given my Mom a PH level test. Even as a nurse, my Mom did not know the foundation of health. She failed the PH test as bad as it could be failed, in my opinion. Four years later my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer.

What do farmers do when the PH level of their soil is incorrect ? The farmers add certain certain minerals to that soil. If the PH is too low or is too high, they will add the corresponding mineral to the soil. It is not much different for the human body, since we were also made from the soil. I am hoping my readers who are on that online search for optimum health will consider the foundation of health is the first thing to become a part of us when we enter the world, and it is the last to exit when we leave it. It is called oxygen .
