Oxygen Water, Regular Water and Spring Water: What Are the Differences?

mary snyder
I found that some oxygen waters boasted Cardio vascular health and vitality, one said it could eliminate bad breath. And yet another said great for the immune system. Well,in checking an article from Consumer Reports," I found that the only way the human body effectively absorbs oxygen is by inhaling"

The human body is made up mostly of water and depends on water to keep organs and systems functioning properly. Water regulates body temperature, helps remove waste, cushions the joints and transports nutrients and oxygen to billions of cells. Increasing water intake sometimes can help alleviate a condition called dry mouth, And water that contains an adequate amount of fluoride helps prevent tooth decay and builds strong teeth.

The different types of water I found are:

Artesian Water/Artesian Well Water
This is bottled water from a well that taps a underground layer of either rock or sand where as the water stands somewhere above the top of this.

Drinking Water
Better known as bottled water,Water sold in sanitary containers with no sweeteners or chemicals,(other than flavors ) These can only use 1 percent or it has to be offered as a soft drink.

Mineral Water
Mineral water is distinguished from other types of bottled water by its constant level and relative proportions of mineral and trace elements at the point of emergence from the source. No minerals can be added to this product.

Purified Water
Water that has been produced by distillation, deionization, reverse osmosis or other suitable processes and that meets the definition of purified water in the United States Pharmacopoeia may be labeled as purified bottled water. Other suitable product names for bottled water treated by one of the above processes may include "distilled water" if it is produced by distillation, "deionized water" if the water is produced by deionization, or "reverse osmosis water

Spring Water
Bottled water in which the Spring water must be collected only at the spring or through a bore hole tapping the underground formation finding the spring. Spring water collected with the use of an external force must be from the same underground stratum as the spring and must have all the physical properties, before treatment, and be of the same composition and quality as the water that flows naturally to the surface of the earth.

Well Water
Simply bottled water from a hole in the ground.

Finally I found that you can make your own flavored water by adding a slice of lemon, lime or orange to it, you can also freeze chunks of fruit in your ice cubes and serve that way. No additives this way! Just great water!
